The Season Awards

Make It Happen Season Awards is an annual celebration honoring the standout short films from our monthly sessions (Make It Happen Filmmaker Sessions) and MIHFF (Make It Happen Film Festival). The list of monthly session and MIHFF finalists is published on our website. During the online ceremony, winners are presented with the prestigious Make It Happen Award, and the event concludes with film screenings and a celebration of the festival community.

Make It Happen Filmmaker Sessions is the first step into the Make It Happen Global Network. Through these free monthly online showcases, each month’s finalists are selected and earn the chance to be nominated for the year-end Season Awards ceremony. While the selected films are featured on our website, all participants gain visibility, build connections, expand their networks, and support one another within the global independent cinema community. This process can be your first step toward creating your own creative network.

Make It Happen Film Festival (MIHFF) is an international film festival that is part of the Make It Happen Global Network, aimed at supporting independent and creative filmmakers. The festival’s core vision is to turn dreams into reality and provide international visibility for independent productions. MIHFF accepts films across various genres, from short films to experimental projects, allowing filmmakers to reach a wide audience. Selected films become eligible for the Season Awards, with MIHFF recognizing and celebrating outstanding projects while offering award winners the opportunity to take active roles within the Make It Happen Global Network.
